**Job Title: Picker and Packer** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team as a Picker and Packer, where you will play a crucial role in the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. This position involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, primarily focused on handling diamond blades and core bits for the construction, stone, and mining industries. As a Picker and Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring product modifications and order fulfillment are completed efficiently. Lifting 45 lbs and up 1st shift: 7:30am - 4pm - $19/hr **Responsibilities** + Accurately pick ordered items from the warehouse and deliver them to necessary departments. + Utilize computer systems to manage work orders effectively. + Read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job orders. + Inspect materials before packing to ensure quality standards. + Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping. + Receive and process warehouse stock products, including picking, unloading, labeling, and storing. + Perform inventory controls and maintain high standards for audits. + Keep a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space utilization. + Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies. **Essential Skills** + Basic knowledge of working in fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environments. + Basic math skills. + Basic computer skills, including experience with Windows applications. + Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. + Fluency in English, with the ability to read instructions and communicate effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to communicate (speak and write) in English. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and permanent hire based on performance. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment, including steel toe boots and safety glasses. The warehouse environment is subject to erratic temperature control, being hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The workshop may be exposed to heat, cold, noise, dust, and other particles. Employees will operate large equipment and machinery, such as production machines and forklifts. Physical requirements include frequently lifting up to 35 lbs, standing or sitting for extended periods, and repetitive bending, reaching, and climbing. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
