About The Role The Performance Analyst role plays a vital part in supporting King County Parks by managing the Parks Recreation Management System (RMS) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms. You'll ensure these systems are effectively configured, optimized, and maintained to meet the evolving needs of Parks staff. By working collaboratively with SaaS vendors, King County IT (KCIT), and internal stakeholders, you will help streamline workflows, enhance reporting and analytics capabilities, and improve user experiences. You’ll contribute to meaningful community impact by supporting equitable access to Parks resources through efficient digital systems. About The Team You'll be part of a small, energetic team— Performance, Data, Analytics, and Process Improvements (PDAP) —that acts as an internal customer service provider across the Parks division. Job Duties What You Will Be Doing : Oversee the ongoing functionality and compliance of the Recreation Management System (RMS) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, including integration with financial, administrative, and contract management processes. Ensure systems support Parks' programmatic, equity, and environmental objectives. Plan and facilitate inclusive, structured brainstorming and project sessions to understand current and future needs of internal business users. Develop and implement user-centered strategies that support operational efficiency, transparency, and equitable service delivery. Manage user permissions, coordinate software upgrades and updates, and ensure the integrity and long-term sustainability of the RMS and CLM systems to support continuous service improvements across Parks. Develop and maintain data tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities that translate complex data into actionable insights. Identify end-user reporting needs, create custom reports and visualizations, and support performance measurement to inform strategic decision-making and demonstrate impact. Map and document key business processes related to RMS and CLM systems. Identify and implement enhancements that improve efficiency, promote equity, and align with environmental sustainability goals. Serve as the primary point of contact for SaaS vendors, collaborating to implement system enhancements, coordinate user trainings, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Work closely with KCIT to ensure compliance with data governance, cybersecurity, and IT project management standards while aligning system work with broader County technology frameworks. Guide cross-functional teams through transitions by creating project plans, technical documentation, and user-focused communications. Deliver training and guidance that demystifies technical concepts and supports staff adoption of new tools and processes. Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Qualifications You Bring : Demonstrated experience with the administration, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of SaaS platforms. Proven ability to analyze data, work with databases, and develop reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools to support strategic decision-making. Demonstrated ability to analyze organizational processes, synthesize data, and recommend improvements based on experience, data, and sound business judgment. Ability to communicate technical and complex information clearly to varied audiences and provide training and support that promotes system adoption and learning. Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects involving internal and external stakeholders, develop timelines and milestones, and manage cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including Excel, SharePoint, Power BI) and high attention to detail in documentation, system administration, and reporting. Experience applying equity and social justice principles in system or program design and demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and interest groups. Supplemental Information Working Conditions Remote and Onsite Work Details: Employees in this role work remotely from a home location, with onsite reporting requirements typically two (2) times per month. Employees may also need to occasionally visit other Parks locations throughout King County as needed for ongoing projects. The frequency of onsite work is determined by business needs and may be adjusted accordingly. Onsite reporting locations may be at various King County worksites including the collaboration space at King Street Center (201 S. Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104). This work arrangement promotes work-life-balance and reduces carbon footprint under the department’s vision of Green Where We Work. Remote Work Location Requirement: Employees must reside in Washington State and be within a reasonable distance to King County worksites to meet onsite reporting requirements. Work Schedule: This full-time position works a 40-hour work week. This position is exempt from the overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) and is not overtime eligible.
