At HireNow Staffing , we connect exceptional talent with top-tier healthcare systems and were currently partnering with one of the most advanced pediatric heart centers in the nation to hire a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer .

You'll be part of a highly specialized team at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital , recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 50 children's hospitals in the nation for Cardiology & Heart Surgery , and awarded a three-star rating for congenital heart surgery by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
Work alongside pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and ECMO/VAD teams
Scan complex cases post-open-heart surgery and congenital heart defects
Travel to 7 outpatient clinics to collaborate closely with leading pediatric cardiologists
Access to cutting-edge imaging technology including Philips IE33 and GE platforms
Contribute to care in the NICU, PICU, CVOR, and Cath Labs
Graduate of a sonography program
Registered credentials: RCS, RCCS, RDCS, or RDCS PE
Hands-on experience in pediatric cardiac imaging (post-grad training acceptable)
️ BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Perform and interpret high-level echocardiograms for pediatric congenital heart patients
Analyze, document, and summarize preliminary findings for cardiologists
Ensure quality assurance, maintain imaging equipment, and uphold lab standards
Participate in education, mentorship, and onboarding of new sonographers
Stay engaged in continuing education, QI meetings, and interdepartmental case reviews
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure optimal outcomes
This Magnet Designated facility is also a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center , serving some of the most medically complex cases in the region. You'll join a passionate, interdisciplinary team that's redefining what pediatric cardiac care looks like.
