Full-time legal assistant needed for law firm in our Philadelphia location. Experience preferred but entry level position suitable for recent graduates who have an interest in the legal profession. Responsibilities include: organizing and maintaining documents in paper or electronic systems; preparation of correspondence, legal pleadings and court filings through e-filing; telephone communication with clients, adversaries and courts; scanning documents; basic administrative tasks including data entry for calendar.
Skills required: extremely organized, detail oriented, proficient in problem solving, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook. Our firm seeks someone who possesses an extremely positive attitude to work within a team setting. Insurance litigation experience a plus.
