Summary

The Data Entry Operator processes fabrication quotes as required for fire protection contractors.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for hand entering and processing projects
• Works closely with the Fabrication Administrator and Customers to ensure complete communication from project start to finish
• Reviews Fabrication paperwork for accuracy
• Prepares, processes, and uploads Fabrication quotes for the Portland Fabrication Shop
• Prepares purchase orders, will-call orders, and uploads quotes to the EStore.
• Maintains monthly job log spreadsheets
• Responsible for customer service and correspondence
• Prints Fabrication paperwork and labels for the Portland Fabrication Shop
• Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1 + years in Data Entry
