We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at a skilled nursing facility.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' strengths, limitations, and goals
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals
* Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
* Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and strategies for independent living
* Document patients' progress and update treatment plans as needed
* Stay current with advances in occupational therapy by attending professional development opportunities
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* New passer/graduates are welcome
* Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience is a plus
* Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT) is a plus
* A California license to practice Occupational Therapy is required
* BLS Certifications are required
