Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to fabricate and install HVAC duct systems in commercial and industrial settings. If you excel at precision work and enjoy collaborating on large-scale projects, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork per blueprints and specs
Cut, bend, and form metal using hand and power tools
Install ventilation systems and air handling units
Ensure ductwork meets code and project standards
Take field measurements and make adjustments as needed
Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
3+ years of HVAC sheet metal experience (apprenticeship preferred)
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Skilled with fabrication tools and equipment
Knowledge of SMACNA standards and mechanical codes
Comfortable working at heights and lifting heavy materials
OSHA 10/30 a plus
Work Environment:
Construction sites, rooftops, mechanical rooms
PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety boots, high-visibility vest, fall protection)
