Job Title : Network & Computer Systems Administrator
Department : Information Technology
Reports To : IT Director
FLSA Status : Exempt

SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network & Computer Systems Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining our LAN, WAN, Internet systems, and other network components to ensure network availability and efficiency. You will also troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, perform routine maintenance, and support our organization's computing needs. Key Responsibilities :
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments (hardware, software, and configurations).
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network and system issues.
Implement and monitor network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Manage email applications and antivirus software.
Monitor network performance and make necessary adjustments for future improvements.
Provide end-user technical support and training on hardware, software, and systems.
Assist with the design and implementation of networking and computing technologies.
Set up and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.
Maintain records of network operations, troubleshooting activities, and user support logs.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in network and system administration.
Experience with Microsoft Windows (2008, 2012, 7, 8), IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in troubleshooting network and system issues.
Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver's license is required.

Technical Skills :
Knowledge of network tools, backup software, system configuration tools, and office productivity software (Microsoft Office, OpenOffice).
Familiarity with RAID systems, network analyzers, remote desktop tools, Microsoft Active Directory, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
Strong understanding of network security protocols and disaster recovery procedures.

Physical Demands :
Regularly required to handle and feel objects, talk and hear, stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in various conditions, including exposure to outdoor environments, mechanical parts, and moderate noise.

Work Environment :
Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions, outdoor environments, and occasional exposure to high places or extreme temperatures.

Certifications :
A+ Computer, Microsoft Certification, or equivalent.
A+ Network or related Microsoft certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
