Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Med Gas Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, with experience in various plumbing tasks and systems. This position requires a solid understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain med gas plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks.
• Perform pipe threading and assembly for various plumbing applications.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
• Handle heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
• Assist in remodeling projects that involve plumbing modifications or installations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is an advantage.
• Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed on construction sites.
• Basic carpentry skills are a plus for remodeling tasks.
• Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not required.
