Job Description

Job Title: Material Specialist

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Job Type: W2 Contract

Expected hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: On-Site

Pay: $23 - $25 / hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and schedule simple manufacturing processes for current production and service parts.
Schedule requirements for material, including kanbans/triggers, delivery, and achievement of the production schedule.
Develop line sequencing of options as needed.
Provide work direction when necessary.
Schedule production parts.
Schedule service parts.
Expedite production and purchased parts.
Coordinate needed parts from other departments.
Coordinate and communicate the implementation of engineering and material changes.
Assist the production department in manpower planning.
Perform general administrative duties to meet administrative support needs.
Assist in coordinating the department's inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

4-year degree in any business-related field
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
