Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, optimize production efficiency, and implement innovative solutions to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role requires a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify bottlenecks and waste, promoting system improvements to reduce product costs and increase production efficiency.
  • Investigate, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and equipment to enhance manufacturing throughput.
  • Lead Kaizen events to boost productivity, minimize downtime, improve quality, and eliminate scrap/waste.
  • Develop and execute detailed process plans for production lines, including bill of materials to support efficient manufacturing.
  • Assist with troubleshooting machines, tooling, and production processes.
  • Create and deliver training materials for the production team.
  • Prepare, submit, and present technical reports as required.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Utilize and implement continuous improvement tools in manufacturing processes.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is strongly desired.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, including advanced knowledge of inventory control practices and supply chain processes.
  • Experience within the automotive/construction machinery required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Proven project management experience with minimal supervision.
  • Strong decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP software.
