Machine Operator, CNC Knife

The Role:

As the Machine Operator, CNC Knife, youwill set up and operate different machines to feed to other parts of the FoamDepartment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate different department machines
\n
• Obtain floor stock and required material
\n
• Cut material to required size
\n
• Log scrap
\n
• May be assigned additional tasks as needed.
\n

Our Requirements:

\n
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
\n
• Dependable
\n
• Read and interpret prints
\n
• Ability to read scales and rulers
\n
• Must have good math, reading, writing and measuring skills
\n
• Experience using hand tools (i.e., utility knife and steel rule die)
\n
• Previous CNC experience a plus
\n
• Work fairly independently or under minimal supervision of the Team Lead/Supervisor
\n
• Ability to effectively communicate to employees, supervisors and management
\n
• Safety/quality minded
\n
• Good work ethics
\n
• Organized and detail oriented
\n
• Self-starter
\n
• Takes responsibility for own actions including the impact of own decisions on others
  Previous manufacturing machining experience preferred
\n

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00
