Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a sharp Form in Place (FIP) Operator to join a custom manufacturer and distributor of advanced polymers and components.

As a Form-In-Place Gasket (FIPG) Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to apply liquid gasket materials to components, ensuring precise and consistent sealing solutions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our products.

This is a contract role with competitive hourly compesation and option to elect in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage. Both 1st and 2nd shift schedules are available for this position.

Day-to-day responsibilities are as follows:

• Set up and operate FIPG equipment to apply liquid gaskets to specified components.
• Inspect and measure components to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain proper application and curing of gasket material.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of FIPG equipment.
• Record and maintain production data and logs.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve any issues and improve processes

Required skills and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in maintenance or machinery in an chemical, polymer, or industrial manufacturing environment
• Prior experience with Form In Place Gaskets, Cured In Place gaskets, or similar form of chemical/polymer sealing
• Reliable transportation to commute to Livermore 5 days/week
