Job Details

• Position : Live-in Companion
• Schedule : Saturday AM to Monday AM (Live-in)
• Location : Old Westbury, Long Island, NY
• Accommodation : Private bed and bath
• Compensation : 2 days/$420 per day (each day is a12 hr shift)

The role requires experience working with the elderly, demonstrating competence, sound judgment, and discretion. Duties

• Provide companionship and assistance as requested
• Monitor the clients well-being while preserving their sense of independence
• Perform light cooking, housekeeping, and occasional laundry as needed
• Update the house calendar with all client-related activities and appointments
• Coordinate schedules effectively
• Drive the client to the market and appointments as needed (car provided)

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a companion or in a similar role

• Nursing degree (preferred, but not required)
• Valid drivers license (car provided)
