Responsible for the supervision and education to swimmers, facility supervision, facility maintenance, and administration of the department emergency action plan. Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or the equivalent, a current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification, a current American Red Cross First Aid certification, or the equivalents, and be in good physical condition (as determined by a pre-requisite skills test) is required. Also responsible for cleaning and general maintenance, including rust removal of Aquatic Center equipment and facilities. Reports to the Assistant Director, Operations and Aquatics. Lifeguard Certification CPR & AED Certification. Successful candidates for any staff, faculty, or administrative position at Loyola University Maryland will be subject to a pre-employment background check. Note: Experience and/or education may be substituted for requirements.
