Virtual Eating Disorder Treatment

HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking fully licensed Mental Health Therapists in California for a remote role with one of the nation's most respected providers of eating disorder care. This full-time W-2 position offers advanced training, clinical supervision, excellent benefits, and a deeply mission-driven, team-based model of care.
Remote Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual therapy to clients ages 4–70
- Work 5 days/week:
- 3 days from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 2 days from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (you choose your late days)
- Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care using CBT-E, CBT-AR, and FBT
- Complete new certification in one modality within your first 24 weeks
- Participate in structured 8-week training and onboarding
- Conduct 1:1 therapy, comprehensive assessments, and safety interventions
- Provide culturally inclusive and gender-affirming care
- Integrate Health at Every Size (HAES) into your clinical framework
- Serve as part of a multidisciplinary team: therapist, dietitian, medical provider, family mentor, peer mentor, and psychiatrist (when indicated)
- Collaborate in weekly team reviews and 1:1 supervision
- Treat clients with diverse identities and complex presentations
- Maintain 26 clinical hours/week with built-in documentation and team time
- Deliver 1-hour intakes; 30–60 minute follow-ups based on acuity
- Engage family systems when treating youth using FBT protocols
- Uphold clear boundaries and clinical safety across patient interactions
- Manage caseload and contribute to team metrics/KPIs
Remote CA Mental Health Therapist, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC Requirements:
- Active, independent California license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC)
- Passion for eating disorder recovery, cultural humility, and inclusion
- Interest in gender-affirming care and Health at Every Size (HAES)
- Experience in risk assessment, safety planning, and documentation
- Background in virtual care and tech platforms preferred
- Open to newly licensed therapists with strong clinical foundations
Remote CA Mental Health Therapist, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC Compensation:
- Therapist I : $89,000–$92,000 base + 15% annual bonus potential
- Therapist II : $95,000–$100,000 base + 15% annual bonus potential
- $10,000 sign-on bonus (split: $5K at start, $5K at 1-year)
- Total compensation potential : $112,000–$125,000 annually
Virtual Mental Health Counselor, LPCC, LMFT, LCSW Benefits:
