*Job Overview*

Heidell, Pittoni, Murphy & Bach, LLP with offices in New York City, Garden City White Plains, Albany and Shelton, is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with 2-3 years experience for our Albany office. Salary range is $50,000-$65,000, depending on experience.

*Duties and Responsibilities*:

Obtaining records and working with experts in varying medical fields;

Reviewing medical records;

Drafting correspondence;

Tracking requests for documents and regularly following up on progress of receipt;

Preparing records and radiology for expert review;

Setting up conferences with expert, clients, non-parties;

Processing invoices from experts, medical facilities, vendors, etc.;

Assisting in preparing cases for trial;

Billing for time

*Qualifications:*

Ability to manage heavy caseload;

Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize work;

Must be organized and able to work independently

Must have good communication skills, verbal and written;

Team player with a can do/will do attitude;

Demonstrates attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
