Are you a detail-driven Electrical Estimator with a passion for precision and high-performance environments?

Our client is seeking a Lead Electrical Estimator to join their preconstruction team, focused on delivering world-class Data Center projects. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, technically complex environments and is ready to take ownership of estimating processes from concept to hand-off.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop detailed cost estimates from take-off through bid submission
• Lead change order pricing and documentation
• Analyze labor, materials, and equipment needs for large-scale electrical projects
• Attend pre-bid and scope review meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and project managers to refine scope and pricing
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and validate estimates
• Coordinate and mentor other estimators to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Maintain organized change order documentation and support standardization efforts
• Evaluate risks and provide strategic input on project feasibility and pricing

What You Bring

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–10 years of experience with a High School Diploma,
• or 6–8 years with an Associate Degree,
• or 2–4 years with a Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to estimate both large and small-scale projects
• Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft or Google Suite applications
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Preferred:

• Experience with Accubid or ConEst Estimating Software
• Mission-critical or Data Center project experience
• Hands-on construction background
