FINE JEWELRY CAD Designer (Remote or NYC-Based)

AARYAH is seeking an experienced and detail-driven jewelry CAD Designer to support our growing bridal and fine jewelry business. This is a freelance or part-time opportunity (remote (US) or NYC-based) for someone who is passionate about design, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can consistently deliver high-quality CADs that reflect our elevated design language. Pay is adjustable based on set up/ experience!

What We're Looking For:

You’re a seasoned fine jewelry and bridal CAD designer who has worked with high-end, fine jewelry pieces — from engagement rings to one-of-a-kind bespoke styles. You know how to prioritize work, hit deadlines, and collaborate closely with a creative team and are a problem solver. Most importantly, you're reliable and committed and have tons of jewelry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Translate design sketches, inspiration references, and creative direction into highly accurate 3D CADs that are production-ready
• Collaborate closely with our founder and internal team to uphold technical accuracy and AARYAH’s design integrity
• Update and revise CADs promptly based on feedback, with a solution-oriented mindset and attention to detail
• Prioritize AARYAH’s projects, communicate clear timelines, and deliver consistently on schedule
• Ensure all CADs are optimized for casting and manufacturing; provide updates as needed without resistance
• Deliver clean, high-quality renderings that we can share with clients during the design process
• Maintain an organized archive of design files and iterations
• Understand fine jewelry techniques and proactively collaborate with our jewelers to suggest improvements or technical recommendations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in high-end or fine jewelry CAD design.
• Proficiency in Rhino, MatrixGold, and/or similar CAD software tailored for jewelry
• Strong knowledge of stone settings, casting processes, and production best practices
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
• Strong communication skills and a reliable, responsive working style
• NYC-based or able to work remotely with flexibility and accountability

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour (flexible - can we per hour or per cad design)

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote or New York, NY 10036
