Job Description: Investment Analyst TDK Ventures is seeking a talented Investment Analyst to join their elite investing team. Reporting to an Investment Director, the Analyst will be involved in all aspects of the investment cycle. Responsibilities include: Market Mapping & Opportunity Identification: Synthesizing startup and technology maps within the digital transformation megatrend (especially AI, Generative AI, and computing), identifying strategic spaces (hardware and software), and curating investment opportunities based on market and technology trend reports. Investor Relationship Management: Updating lists of current and potential co-investors, tracking their activities, and identifying suitable partners for future financing rounds. CRM Management: Documenting relevant startup information in the company's CRM system, highlighting key insights and next steps. Investment Proposal Support: Preparing materials for investment proposals, weekly reviews, and briefings aligned with investment priorities. Due Diligence Support: Assisting in financial modeling, market research, IP analysis, customer calls, and technology assessments. Deal Flow Management: Managing interactions with entrepreneurs, venture partners, and internal teams. Investment Committee Presentations: Developing presentation materials, articulating investment theses, and highlighting key considerations. Due Diligence Participation: Engaging fully in due diligence activities, including deal structuring and reference calls. Portfolio Support: Supporting existing investments through reporting, business development, and follow-on transactions. Qualifications: Required: A technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Applied Mathematics). A PhD is highly preferred. Experience: 1-3 years in private equity, venture capital, consulting, or investment banking.
