POSITION – Industrial Lighting Assembler
JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp Assignment (6-12 weeks, possibly longer or even lead to a career position)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 4:30pm, Mon-Thurs. Overtime Fridays 6:00am-2:30pm)
STARTING PAY – $17.50 per hour
REQUIRED EDUCATION – HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous manufacturing experience preferred, must be able to read blueprints and diagrams and use hand and power tools
While working doing Industrial Lighting Assembly, you will be following verbal and written instructions including blue prints and drawings to decipher where parts should be placed. You will be using a cordless drill and other air pneumatic fastening tools to place fixtures and wiring on various commercial, industrial custom lighting. You will be on your feet for the majority of your shift; 9-10 hours per day.
Responsibilities:
Use of hand tools to complete various assembly processes
Must pay attention to detail
Read and follow blue print and instructions
Assembly of light fixtures and sub-assemblies
Wiring, packaging and preparing products for shipping
Qualifications:
1 year manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read a print and decipher where parts and wiring must be placed
Be comfortable operating cordless drill and air pneumatic fastening tools
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Be able to be on feet for entire shift
Excellent attendance and punctuality
