Gain a deep understanding of the key project contracts (prime contract, design subcontract, major subcontracts, Port Authority lease and regulations and purchase orders). This includes, among other things, acquiring familiarity with: (i) notice procedures and deadlines in these agreements -(ii) contractual risk allocation -(iii) invoicing and payment provisions -(iv) contractual remedies and preconditions to obtaining relief -and (v) dispute escalation and resolution sequence.
