Since 1982, we've combined precision machining with expert hydraulic service to serve customers throughout Harrisonburg and Central Virginia. Join our lighthearted, tight-knit team where innovation, integrity, and clean humor go hand in hand – and every team member has a voice.

Why You'll Love Working with Us:

  • Faith-Based Values: Work in a company guided by Biblical principles, where integrity and respect for others shape every interaction.
  • Team-Focused Culture: Join a collaborative environment where every team member has a voice, and daily huddles keep communication open and progress moving forward.

  • Problem-Solving Spirit: Thrive in a company that values innovation, addresses challenges head-on, and constantly looks for ways to improve together.
  • Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Experience a supportive environment that values work-life balance, flexibility, and treating each other like family.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experienced: 2+ years of mechanical experience preferred; product and parts knowledge is helpful. On-the-job training provided.
  • Integrity & Attitude: Honest, friendly, and respectful, with a clean sense of humor and a positive presence in the shop.
  • Open to Growth: Willing to receive feedback, approach mistakes as learning opportunities, and focus on solutions rather than blame.
  • Customer-oriented: Committed to hearing the customer's perspective and working toward timely, respectful resolutions.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Skilled at assessing parts, following checklists, rebuilding components, and maintaining quality throughout. Bringing personal tools is preferred, but company tools are available.
  • Safety Awareness: Recognizes and avoids potential hazards. Safety is a priority because everyone has someone who cares about them.
  • Team Fit: Thrives in a Christian work environment that values humility, collaboration, and personal responsibility.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency.
  • Active: Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and remain on feet throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a brief morning huddle to review the previous day's highlights and challenges
  • Log in to view daily job assignments
  • Follow the teardown checklist to assess the cylinder condition
  • Communicate with customers to approve any additional repair needs
  • Rebuild cylinders according to quality standards
  • Notify customers upon completion, generate invoices, and place finished cylinders on the rack
  • Clean tools and work area at the end of each job
  • Maintain quality control throughout each stage of the process
  • Monitor & maintain parts inventory related to assigned repairs

What We Offer Our Hydraulic Mechanic:

  • $20-$30/hour – DOE plus Overtime
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid Holidays
  • Performance-Based Raises & Bonuses
  • Tools & Supplies at Cost
  • Quarterly Bonus Potential
