Job Summary

Longley Supply Company in Raleigh, NC has openings for Outside Sales Associates with HVAC Equipment, Supplies and Parts sales experience. The Outside Sales Associate will strive to develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers to secure and retain a large portion of their business while protecting the interest and integrity of our company.

Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to

• Business Development – Recruit and maintain new customer sales of HVAC equipment, supplies and parts. Actively and consistently call on assigned accounts weekly with aggressiveness.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly goals.
• Plan and organize a daily work schedule to call on existing and potential new customers to obtain orders.
• Focus efforts by studying and qualifying potential customers in order to efficiently and confidently promote our products.
• Communicate progress regularly to the Sales Manager via phone, in-person and written weekly call reports.
• Keep well maintained and organized records.
• Neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Be self supportive, prepare customer quotes as requested and follow up until awarded.
• Attend and participate in all scheduled events including sales meetings, training classes, association meetings and other business related gatherings.
• Be customer service oriented and results driven.
• Strong communication and presentation skills both written and oral.
• Computer skill including MSWord, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Maintain high ethical standards consistent with company policies.

Qualifications are but not limited to

• Strong proven background in HVAC equipment and supply sales.
• Knowledge and experience with HVAC equipment, supplies and parts.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Prospecting skills.
• Strong closing skills.

Compensation

• Base salary plus commission.
• Auto & Phone allowances.
• Expense account.
