Job Description

The core and support system to the housekeeping department ensures the team has all the items they need to provide a welcome and comfortable place for our guests

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping of all linens and removal of glassware from rooms
• Deliver dirty linen through drop chute
• Deliver guest room glasses to the housekeeping area to be cleaned
• Clean guest hallways and corridors including bridge floors
• Restock room supplies
• Respond to guest queries and requests
• Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
• Collect and bag all trash in required receptacles. Deliver all trash off property.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
• Assist with unloading of truck deliveries
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Turn in and record all lost and found items

Requirements

• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required.
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend with ability to lift, push, and pull.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must.
