Hardware Design Engineer

Skills:

Design, develop, and optimize PCB layouts using CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Eagle, KiCad).

Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure PCB designs meet system requirements.

Generate and maintain design documentation, including schematics, bill of materials (BOM), Gerber files, and assembly drawings.

Conduct design validation and simulation for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.

Select appropriate PCB materials and components based on design and performance requirements.

Work closely with PCB fabricators and assemblers to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT).

Troubleshoot and debug PCB prototypes, addressing layout, EMI/EMC compliance, and electrical issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PCB design and development.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD).
• Strong understanding of high-speed PCB design, impedance control, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Experience with multi-layer PCB designs, flex PCBs, and HDI technology.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-2221, IPC-6012, and RoHS compliance.
