MAU is hiring a Generator Technician for our client, CAT5, in Coastal, SC. As a Generator Technician, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain backup power systems for telecommunications, emergency services, and local businesses.

Shift Information- Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Travel across eastern South Carolina required; overnight stays as needed (per diem included)
Required Education and Experience- Minimum of 2 years' previous experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic electrical knowledge required
General Requirements- DOT Medical Card required
- Working knowledge of generator systems and their role in business operations
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Compliance with company policies, goals, and asset protection
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive bending and twisting
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Flexible schedule with ability to travel and stay overnight
- Pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean, safe work environment
- Computer literacy in a Windows environment (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to operate basic shop equipment
- Must be at least 25 years old
Essential Functions- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial generators
- Evaluate and recommend necessary repairs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose generator systems
- Provide excellent customer service
- Stay updated on equipment model changes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Working Conditions- Field-based work across various customer sites in eastern South Carolina
Physical Demands- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform bending and twisting motions throughout the day
