Job Description

Serving our community for over 142 years, the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory brand is built and maintained by a team of professionals who embody the value - families first. 

Requirements include:

• Must have completed mortuary school and have a West Virginia / Ohio Funeral Directors License or the ability to gain license.
• Must be a detail oriented self-starter who can handle a fast paced firm and has excellent communication skills to interact with families. 
• Computer skills required. 
• Strong organizational and time management are a plus. 
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record and the ability to lift at least 50lbs.

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting with client families to make funeral arrangements, present and explain service options. 
• Direct funeral services, visitations, ability to create personalized memorial products, and assist with other services.

Training provided. Excellent schedule including every other weekend off. No after-hours transfers.
