Position Responsibilities

General Facilities Cleaning (including but not limited to the following)

• General office cleaning including: empty trash daily, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and vacuuming ensuring daily cleanliness of the facility
• Shampooing and spot cleaning carpets
• Stripping, waxing and buffing of floors including wood, stone, VCT and vinyl (training provided)

Event and Meeting Support (including but not limited to the following)

• Event setup and breakdown
• Local pickups with company vehicle
• Trouble shoot basic AV (training provided)

Grounds Keeping

• Snow removal using plows, shovels and heavy equipment (training provided)
• Maintaining cleanliness of the ground power washing and sweeping when needed
• Pond maintenance (training provided)
• Maintenance of the nature trail (training provided)

Facilities Maintenance

• Minor repairs throughout the facility including but not limited to carpentry, electrical and plumbing (training provided)

Vehicle Maintenance

• Maintaining all vehicles and specialized equipment (training provided)

Specialized equipment

• Training will be provided on the operation of our equipment, used primarily in clearing of storm damage and snow. (e.g. RTV, wheel loader, skid loader, salters, plow, etc.)

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or G.E.D

Work Experience

• Minimum three years in facility maintenance

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, sit for an extended period of time
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
• Must have ample mobility
• Ability to lift and move objects of 50 lbs. or more
• Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, reach and walk daily

Driver’s License

• Valid with minimal to no history of driving infractions

Work Schedule

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include both day and nights, weekends, overnights, and additional hours as needed (as approved by the Supervisor)
