Job Summary:

The Front-end Web Developer designs, implements, and project manages digital marketing content, including internal and external websites, SEO campaigns, and email marketing. The front-end developer is responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produces, maintains, and modifies content for web pages and web applications.
  • The Front-end Web Developer works with stakeholders to develop the overall look and design of Company websites.
  • Writes website code with programming languages such as HTML, C++, and Java.
  • Ensures websites are accessible and responsive across platforms.
  • Routinely tests websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors.
  • Proactively identifies and fixes any website issues or bugs that arise.
  • Implements and monitors SEO optimization campaigns on websites.
  • The Front-end Web Developer tracks, monitors, and analyzes web metrics and makes recommendations for optimization.
  • Designs, executes, and tracks email campaigns.
  • Stays abreast of industry-wide web technologies and recommends ways to improve websites.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of working UX/UI/Web development experience. A combination of education and experience may be taken into consideration.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Excellent project management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, and Google Ads. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) a plus.
  • Expertise designing and managing email campaigns (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Works as part of a team to build solutions based on business requirements.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A firm grasp of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Understanding of design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Must submit a link to your portfolio to be considered for this position.
