Monday - Friday
2PM-10:30PM

• Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload cargo from trailers, ships, and rail cars using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Shipment verification: Check shipments against shipping documents like bills of lading or manifests to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
• Material handling: Move, stack, and stage goods within the warehouse, preparing them for shipping or storage.
• Cargo securing: Secure and prepare items for transport using appropriate methods like shrink-wrapping, strapping, or dunnage to prevent damage.
• Documentation and tracking: Accurately log shipment information, including damages or shortages, and use scanning equipment or computer systems to track inventory.
• Safety and maintenance: Adhere to all safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure equipment is in good working order. 

Essential skills and qualifications:

• Equipment operation: Proficiently operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Physical fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, and have the stamina to work various shifts.
• Attention to detail: Meticulously check paperwork, count inventory, and inspect goods for accuracy and damage.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Safety awareness: Strong commitment to following all safety protocols and guidelines.
