This Housekeeping role provides needed carpet and floor cleaning at our dealerships as well as back-up janitorial needs. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and have a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Floor and Carpet Technician Compensation and Benefits: Floor and Carpet Technician Starting Salary: Starting at $19.50 per hour. Full Time 8pm-4am, Tuesday and Wednesdays Off. Floor and Carpet Technician Responsibilities:

• Floor care approximately 15% of the time – Strip/scrub and finish, auto-scrubbing, acid washing etc.
• Carpet cleaning approximately 80%+ of the time – portable equipment only extraction, Cimex and spin cleaning etc, there will be no truck mount.
• Window cleaning (ground level) 5% of the time – will train
• You should be able to perform basic maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Will fill in for janitorial positions often.
• Must be comfortable towing a company provided cargo trailer including backing up with a company provided vehicle. Cargo trailer has fold down ramp for easy loading and unloading.

Floor and Carpet Technician Qualifications:

• Janitorial experience required
• Able to lift 50lbs consistently.
• Excellent communication skills (including listening, speaking).
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work alone, self motivate and manage one’s own time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
