The Role : Executive Security Officer - Mountain View Onsite

As an Executive Security Officer, you will be responsible for securing and safeguarding our client's employees, property and assets at specific sites. You will be a subject matter expert in all site-specific policies and procedures and implementing emergency response activities.

In this role, you will observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to defined management, life/safety personnel or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required. You will exercise calmness of action during highly stressful situations and communicate and interact in a positive and professional manner.

Hours Available:

  • TBD
  • Monday – Friday, Various Shifts, Weekend coverage as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following.
  • Patrol facilities/campuses on foot and check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, and or unauthorized persons on the grounds.
  • Monitor radio and telephone calls and conduct routine monitoring and surveillance of the CCTV system.
  • Provide escorts in the assigned space for approved personnel.
  • Document incidents and reporting as directed.
  • Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shifts.
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
Requirements:

Qualifications/requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military that includes executive or dignitary protection responsibilities and ability to maintain appropriate licenses to carry a concealed weapon in accordance with California state regulations during employment with ASI.
  • Certification in LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers' Safety Act)
  • Possess and maintain valid Security Guard Card during employment with ASI.
  • Possess and maintain CPR certification during employment with ASI.
  • Experience in writing routine correspondence, including logs and reports.

  • Display exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible/non-standard corporate schedules (including holidays)
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace ambiguous environment
  • Be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft office, wireless technology, CCTV networks, and fire/security alarm systems.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
