Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Security for VIPs & High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNI): Provide armed close protection for high-profile clients, ensuring their safety through situational awareness, proactive threat mitigation, and secure movement in various environments.
• Advance Work & Risk Assessment: Conduct site reconnaissance, route planning, and security evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and establish comprehensive protection strategies before client arrivals.
• Secure Transportation: Provide safe, discreet, and efficient transportation for clients as needed, ensuring secure travel routes, alternate plans, and real-time adjustments to mitigate risks.
• Private Event & Estate Security: Oversee security operations at private events, high-profile gatherings, and residential estates, ensuring perimeter security, access control, and smooth event management to protect clients and assets.
• Access Control & Perimeter Security: Enforce strict access protocols, monitor entry points, and secure designated areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure a controlled environment.
• Incident Response & Emergency Management: React swiftly and effectively to security breaches, medical emergencies, or active threats, coordinating with emergency responders and law enforcement as needed.
• Operational Leadership & Coordination: Manage on-site security operations, venue protection, and secure location transitions. Collaborate with team members, event staff, and external agencies to maintain a seamless security presence.
• Confidentiality & Professionalism: Maintain strict discretion when handling sensitive client information, ensuring a professional and composed demeanor in all interactions.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in relevant military, law enforcement, executive protection, or personal security roles.
• Certifications:
  • Armed Security Guard License 
  • Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW/LEOSA/HR218)
  • Firearms Training Certification
  • Annual Firearms Requalification Record
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification for Adults, Children, and Infants
• Advanced Certifications: Preferred certifications in executive protection, tactical firearms training, and defensive driving.
• Risk and Threat Management: Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, threat mitigation, defensive tactics, and situational awareness to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Conflict Resolution and De-escalation: Proven proficiency in conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response, with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Physical and Mental Readiness: High physical fitness, mental resilience, and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Communication Skills: Ensures precise, concise, and professional communication in all interactions and documentation.
• Reporting Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in creating thorough, accurate reports to document incidents, observations, and activities that support client needs.
• Professionalism and Integrity: Impeccable discretion, confidentiality, and integrity when handling sensitive information and working with high-profile clients. Professional appearance and demeanor to represent the organization at the highest standard.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Knowledge of Local Laws and Regulations: Comprehensive understanding of California laws governing private security and firearms use, ensuring compliance in all operations.
• Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military Experience: Extensive background in law enforcement or military service, providing a solid foundation in security protocols, tactical operations, and disciplined conduct.
• Advanced Training: Proficiency in advanced work, defensive driving, and emergency medical response, including certifications such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) for handling on-site medical emergencies.
• Emotional Intelligence: Ability to remain composed, empathetic, and effective in high-stress situations, maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and respect for different cultural backgrounds, ensuring all interactions are appropriate, professional, and respectful.
• Technological Proficiency: Skilled in using security technologies such as surveillance systems, sensors, alarms, and communication tools to enhance protection and situational awareness.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to unpredictable schedules, changing environments, and unexpected events while maintaining consistent performance and readiness.
• Conflict Resolution Skills: Ability to calmly and effectively de-escalate tense situations, minimizing risk and ensuring safety and professionalism.
