Electrical Engineer – Power Electronics

Are you passionate about designing cutting-edge power systems for space? Our client, a pioneering space company with a bold vision for the future, is growing their team and looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer (Power Systems) to join their mission.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and test power systems for spacecraft, including solar arrays, battery systems, and power distribution units.
• Create and validate circuit designs with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and resilience in challenging space environments.
• Support integration and testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and verify system performance throughout assembly and launch preparation.

About You:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing power systems, including solar panels, batteries, and power electronics.
• Knowledge of space-grade systems, including radiation effects, thermal cycling, and reliability engineering principles.
• Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or Altium Designer.
• Familiarity with spacecraft power systems, including MPPT algorithms, energy storage, and distribution architectures.
• Hands-on experience with environmental testing and qualification processes for space applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
