Express Employment Professionals is looking for a skilled Drywall Finisher for our client in Cuero, Tx. Our client is a leading construction company specializing in residential and commercial projects. They are currently engaged in an exciting project building duplexes within a controlled warehouse setting.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, taping, finishing, and sanding drywall panels for our duplex construction project within our warehouse. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to fit specific dimensions.
• Apply taping, joint compound, and texturing to drywall seams, corners, and angles.
• Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or finishing.
• Repair existing drywall installations as needed.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role.
• At least 2yrs. proven experience in work setting as contractor/business
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation, taping, and finishing techniques.
• Proficiency with drywall tools and materials.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
• Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
