Description We are looking for a skilled Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in West Menlo Park, California. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring data accuracy and contributing to the team's success. Responsibilities: - Enter and update data accurately into company systems using proficient 10-key typing skills. - Verify and validate data to maintain the integrity and accuracy of records. - Generate reports and perform calculations using Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas and pivot tables. - Collaborate with team members to organize files and improve documentation processes. - Respond to administrative and customer service requests promptly and professionally. - Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and adhere to data security protocols. - Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose enhancements to improve processes. - Support team initiatives, including mentoring and skill-building activities to address gaps. - Maintain a high level of attention to detail while meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks. Requirements - Proficient in 10-key typing with exceptional accuracy and speed. - Demonstrated experience in data entry and database management. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. - Strong customer service skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. - Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members. - Familiarity with organizational systems is a plus.
