CTE BUSINESS EDUCATION LICENSURE

• Candidates must hold and be HQ in the Business Education (760) license area.
• Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and 24 semester hours of related courses in Business; OR passing PRAXIS II scores for Business Education: Content Knowledge
• Related courses include: Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Information Technology, Sports Management
• Non-licensed, provisional candidates are eligible based upon holding a related Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA and two years of industry-related work experience within the past five years. Related degrees include:
• Accounting, Administrative Systems, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Information Technologies, Management/MIS (Management Information Systems), Marketing

Work experience examples include:

• Accountant/CPA, Business Analyst, Business Manager, Operations Analyst, Marketing Manager, Systems Analyst, Database Administrator, Management Analyst, Computer Programmer/Analyst, Chief Information Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Loan Officer, E-commerce Manager, Stock Broker, Investment Advisor, Financial Analyst
• Eligibility for a residency or provisional license must be established prior to a contract offer
