Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • CPA or CMA preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Principal Accountabilities:
    • Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
    • Oversee accounting operations, control systems, and transaction processing.
    • Drive value-added analysis for management decision-making.
    • Manage cash flow processes and cost accounting.
    • Supervise administrative support staff.
  • Transactions:
    • Compile and analyze financial data for month-end reporting.
    • Ensure timely accounts payable and receivable processing.
    • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
    • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Reporting:
    • Manage month-end close and prepare financial statements.
    • Coordinate the corporate annual report preparation.
    • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
