Role Overview The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the development, negotiation and administration of a variety of customer and vendor/supplier facing agreements, and other complex agreements. This position works closely with a variety of internal teams to support the contracting process from start to finish such as procurement, engineering, and commercial. This role reports to Nexus Circular’s Sr. Contracts Manager. Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate terms and conditions for a wide variety of contracts.
  • Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with internal clients about contractual issues.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure contractual terms and conditions are acceptable and serve to manage risk.
  • Manage the administration of the review, analysis, proofreading, and redlining of agreements.
  • Ensure the maintenance of contract templates in computer system; update contract templates as needed.
  • Safeguard the maintenance of contracts database
  • Work with internal teams to train on contract procedures.
  • Ensure all processes are documented and updated regularly.
  • Exercise independent judgment to ensure that the dissemination of information is made to appropriate employees regarding contract status.
  • Provide appropriate reporting to management as needed.
  • Provide contract summaries as requested and ensure contract execution in accordance with Company policy.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or legal degree or paralegal certification
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate office managing contracts or working in the legal field.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
