Travel Required (Local + Out-of-State)

Mercury Sound & Lighting is looking for a creative and energetic Content & Social Media Producer who loves storytelling, live events, and creating high-volume content. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who wants to be out in the field capturing real work in action—not just sitting behind a desk.

You’ll attend live events, installations, and job sites (locally and out of state) to capture raw photo/video content, then turn it into engaging daily posts and reels for our social media platforms. When things are slower, you’ll assist with light administrative tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Capture photos and videos at live events, installs, and job sites
• Travel locally and out of state for events and production work
• Create 4–5 social posts per day across multiple platforms
• Produce 2–3 reels per week based on captured footage
• Plan and schedule content calendars
• Post, monitor engagement, and respond to followers
• Run organic and paid social media campaigns
• Maintain and organize a content library
• Work independently in the field to get the footage you need
• Assist with light admin tasks when social media workload is lighter

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3+ years experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
• Strong photo/video skills (smartphone or camera)
• Editing abilities using CapCut, Adobe Rush, Canva, etc.
• Able to create content quickly and stay consistent with trends
• Great communication and storytelling skills
• Comfortable traveling regularly (including overnight trips)

·        A proactive self-starter who doesn’t need constant direction.

·        Someone who can multitask and shift quickly between projects.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, changing environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with paid ads
• Understanding of audio, lighting, staging, or event production
• Graphic design or visual branding experience

Compensation

• Full-Time
• $35k-50k, dependent on experience
• Health Insurance and 401k
