Job Description

We seek a dedicated, driven, goal-oriented individual who wants to find a long-term home in the commercial insurance space. We put our clients first and take care of each other – we’d like to have you as a part of our family.

What you will do:

1. Grow and build a book of business focused on the commercial lines insurance space to bolster the Provident presence in Northern Wisconsin.
2. Help balance the books for the Merrill/Wausau office.
3. Participates in identifying new business opportunities.
4. Maintain relationships, support direct service and your own customer service.
5. Promptly and accurately responds to client requests and follows through to ensure client receive timely response.

What you will need:

1. Highly organized and proactive, able to work independently with a tenacity for commercial lines.
2. Underwriting experience preferred.
3. Team-oriented attitude with demonstrated leadership potential, including effective speaking skills.
4. Strong people skills.
5. Integrity – belief in doing the right thing and making the right decisions.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Works in a collaborative and team-oriented manner for quality.
8. Ability to multitask
9. Strong time management skills and the ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks to maximize the number of internal and external clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service.
