CNC Mill Machinist - Aerospace

\n - \n Status : Full-Time; Non-Exempt
\n - \n Compensation : $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
\n - \n Schedule :
\n - 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday
\n - 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday - Friday
\n - Overtime, including Saturdays, as needed

Responsibilities & Expectations \n - Set up and initial program validation.
\n - Perform inspection and validation of key features at CNC machines.
\n - Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and successfully overcome machining obstacles.
\n - Collaboration with engineering/programing/management for machining optimization and fixture design.
\n - Work in a fast paced, fluid environment
\n - Promote a positive image of Precision Aerospace

Qualifications and Education Requirements \n - Must be US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Card
\n - Highschool diploma or equivalent
\n - Strong knowledge and application of geometric tolerancing
\n - Ability to set-up and run Vertical and Horizontal CNC Lathes with minimal supervision
\n - Expert skill in precision measuring equipment
\n - Proficient ability to read blueprints supporting Aerospace industries
\n - Must have expertise with the precision machining of critical aerospace hardware including castings, and forgings ranging from aluminum to high nickel alloys.
\n - Ability to properly prioritize workload based on communication from QC and CNC managers
\n - Excellent organization skills, written and verbal communication skills
\n - High level of accuracy and attention to detail
\n - Team oriented, possessing the ability to work cohesively with others to accomplish assigned responsibilities.
\n - Positive attitude
\n - Performs other duties as assigned.

\n - Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and typing
\n - Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
\n - Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, bending and repetitive motion
\n - The ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.
