Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Pleasant Hill Post Acute

Position Type:

• Opportunities Available: Part-Time/On-Call (AM, PM, and NOC Shifts)
• Rate: $22-$25 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

General Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents according to their assessment and care plan, and as directed by supervisors.

Essential Duties:

• Resident Identification: Use wristbands or photo cards to correctly identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc.
• Reporting: Promptly report all changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Documentation: Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Accident Reporting: Immediately report all accidents and incidents observed during the shift.
• Confidentiality: Respect residents' protected health information and report suspected violations to the Administrator.
• Authorized Procedures: Perform only nursing care procedures for which you have been trained.
• Room Preparedness: Ensure resident rooms are ready for incoming residents (e.g., bed made, name tags up, admission kit available).
• Resident Interaction: Greet and escort residents to their rooms, introduce them to roommates and other staff, and ensure their comfort.
• Inventory Management: Inventory personal possessions and assist residents with packing their belongings when transferring rooms or discharging.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
