About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to spearhead the financial strategy of a rapidly growing clean energy firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of capital planning, and fundraising, and will ensure the organization has the necessary resources and systems in place to support its global scaling efforts. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with executive leadership, the board, and investors, and demands a professional who can balance operational discipline with a strong growth focus. The CFO will also be tasked with building and leading a finance team, implementing scalable financial systems, and anticipating financial risks to maintain flexibility and extend the company's runway. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a background in senior finance leadership, preferably in capital-intensive sectors such as energy, manufacturing, or advanced technology. A proven track record in raising capital from various sources, including venture and strategic funding, is essential. The role requires a hands-on leader with expertise in financial planning, modeling, forecasting, and reporting systems, as well as exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. A mission-driven mindset with a deep commitment to advancing clean energy solutions is a must. While the position is remote, there is a strong preference for candidates based on the West Coast. Bonus qualifications include experience with first-of-a-kind manufacturing builds, renewable energy finance, or technical fluency for collaboration with engineering teams.
