Position: Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Middlebury, VT

Salary Range: $71,531.00 - $107,286.00 annually

Signing Bonus: $5,000 - $7,500 (based on experience)

Relocation Package: Full

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our client's team in Middlebury, VT . This role offers the opportunity to perform essential echocardiograms for patients, providing critical diagnostic information to physicians. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate effective communication, and have strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Echocardiogram Services:
  • Perform echocardiograms for patients as ordered by physicians, prioritizing trauma and critically ill patients.
  • Ensure high-quality echo exams by selecting optimal ultrasound techniques.
  • Review images and ensure accuracy before submitting them for review.
• Technical Operations:
  • Operate the echocardiography laboratory on a daily basis, maintaining high standards and compliance with American Society of Echocardiography and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage the laboratory's equipment and supplies to ensure proper function.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Medical Director, medical staff, and technical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in meetings, both in-service and out-of-service professional educational programs.
• Patient Care and Documentation:
  • Provide clear instructions to patients regarding echocardiogram procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, documents, and statistics related to patient exams.
  • Ensure studies are copied to disk for review as needed.
• Compliance:
  • Abide by the Medical Center Compliance Program and adhere to department policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Certification:
  • RDCS from ARDMS , CCI , or CRCS by CARDUP required within one year of hire.
• Skills:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience:
  • 3 years of Echocardiography experience or equivalent education and training is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Based on experience, ranging from $71,531.00 to $107,286.00 annually.
