Job Title: Bar Manager

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating an exceptional guest experience, managing staff, and maintaining a high standard of quality and service. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for supervising bartenders, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and optimizing the overall bar performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management & Training: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor bartenders and bar staff. Create a positive and engaging work environment that fosters teamwork, productivity, and high employee morale.
Scheduling & Supervision: Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage for busy periods. Delegate tasks effectively and supervise staff performance to maintain operational efficiency.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service by overseeing daily operations, responding to customer feedback, and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Maintain proper stock levels, track inventory usage, and conduct regular stock checks.
Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor beverage costs, implement cost-saving strategies, and adhere to budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure that the bar complies with all local liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area.
Menu Development: Work with the team to create and update the drink menu, introduce seasonal cocktails, and implement new beverage offerings that will enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
Financial Management: Monitor bar performance, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities to improve profitability. Implement strategies to increase revenue while maintaining excellent service.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or management certifications are a plus.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a bar or restaurant management role, with a proven track record of leading a team and managing bar operations.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes, and move quickly during peak times.
