Sheehy Auto Stores is looking for an Accounting Internal Auditor who is well-versed in all areas of automotive accounting. This person will perform audits of our dealerships to evaluate conformance with company policies and procedures, internal controls and operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of automotive dealership accounting, and experience with dealership management software. Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of an internal control program to test all areas of dealership accounting functions to identify areas of significant risk.
• Conduct detailed reviews and test exception items; test internal control procedures.
• Prepare monthly written evaluations of findings and recommendations for improvement to share with management.
• Assist with coordinating the external auditor’s fieldwork.
• Occasionally act as backup for personnel at dealerships.

Requirements

• Must have 3-6+ years of Automotive Accounting Experience
• Experience in public accounting and/or internal auditing preferred
• Reynolds/Ignite experience preferred
• Excellent excel skills required
• Detail-oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal
• Personable, friendly demeanor with a "World Class" customer service approach to internal and external customers
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug test
