*What Our Associate Attorneys Do:*
· Attend court hearings, perform legal research, and collaborate with associate attorneys to offer legal advice.
· Maintain organized files to ensure accessibility of recent updates to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
· Analyze legal matters for conflicts, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on their behalf.
· Prepare legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
· Communicate effectively with paralegals and clients to ensure efficient case management.
*What We Need From You:*
· Must have passed the bar exam and hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
· Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
· Admission to the Texas Bar.
· Evidence of current Texas Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience handling family law cases (non-negotiable) in the state of Texas.
· Ability to track billable hours.
· Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new programs easily.
· Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
· Problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
