About the Role:

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Collaboration with Design Teams:

◦ Work closely with design engineers to understand the product specifications and requirements.

◦ Provide feedback on design for manufacturability (DFM) and suggest improvements to enhance the assembly process.

2. Process Development:

◦ Develop and optimize assembly processes for new drone products.

◦ Implement efficient manufacturing workflows, considering cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

◦ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and process.

3. Prototyping and Validation:

◦ Oversee the creation of prototypes for new drone models.

◦ Conduct thorough testing and validation of assembly processes to identify and resolve potential issues.

4. Quality Assurance:

◦ Establish quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed specifications.

◦ Implement and monitor rigorous quality assurance protocols throughout the process.

5. Supply Chain Coordination:

◦ Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of components for drone products.

◦ Identify and address any supply chain issues that may impact production schedules.

6. Continuous Improvement:

◦ Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

◦ Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall product quality.

Required Skills:

• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in NPI engineering, preferably in the drone or aerospace industry.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.

• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Location : Georgetown, Seattle WA (100% Onsite)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $55K- $60K Annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
